- You MUST wait for your character to be accepted before roleplaying.
- It is advised that you have a map of the region you are playing in handy. Some cities allow you to travel in different directions, however I have the boards set up in the manner they would be traveled in the game. You are allowed to skip a number of boards, if the route/city you are traveling to is connected to the one you are in.
- Traveling is dangerous. Pokemon are not friendly. There are not going to be ten year old children going out on an adventure. Just sayin'.
- People don't really travel between the regions. They must have a pressing reason, or very powerful pokemon to do so-or it must be their job (sailors on trade ships, for example). The only exception to this is Kanto and Johto, since they are connected landmasses. Still, use your common sense. They have to physical travel the distance, not just teleport.
- Most people do not have pokeballs. In fact, the only pokeballs available are the ones made out of apricorns. These are only made by a few individuals, and they are distributed to a radical group called Origin who are the closest to the 'trainers' of old that this world comes to.
- Think medieval. That's basically what the world is back at.
- There are no pokemorphs at this point in time. There may be a plot in the future, for those of you who enjoy playing one, but not right now.
- Pokemon can be tamed without capturing them, so not everyone needs to be an Origin member. Messengers, Bandits, and etc all train pokemon, though they do train fewer.
